Mrs. Bray:
When the main character has to make a choice between wearing a helmet permanently or having a guide dog due to his seizures he chooses the dog but little does he know that the dog (Elvis) can talk...but only he can hear him. Read about how some unlikely friends and a large goofy talking dog tackle the problem of bullying and while doing this realize their self worth to become more confident in themselves and each other. I like this book because it addresses bullying in a funny (but also serious) manner and the characters are very quirky and unique--I am loving the character of Elvis and hope he gets to stay.
